*Position Overview*
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both residential and commercial projects and the ability to produce high-quality, code-compliant designs. A PE license is highly preferred.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Design and analyze structural systems for residential and commercial buildings, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing elements.
* Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering disciplines to deliver cohesive project solutions.
* Conduct site visits to evaluate existing structures, support construction progress, and verify adherence to design documents.
* Assist with permitting, respond to plan review comments, and provide technical support as needed.
* Develop structural models and perform analysis using approved design software.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and project stakeholders.
*Qualifications*
* *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
* *Experience:* 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience in residential and/or commercial projects.
* *Technical Skills:* Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or similar platforms.
* *Licensure: *PE license strongly preferred. EIT required if PE is not obtained.
* Strong understanding of local and national building codes (IBC, ASCE, etc.).
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
