This role will work from our New York office and report directly to our Global Content Team Lead, based in our Amsterdam Headquarters. The Senior content writer role is focused on producing content that meets Adyen's business goals, in line with marketing and brand objectives. You will work on a range of briefs, including complex projects, while applying a strong understanding of Adyen’s value proposition. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable responding to existing briefs as they are initiating and developing broader strategic content briefs in collaboration with stakeholders. You are proficient in writing (long-form and short-form), editing, have strong project management skills and a good grasp of SEO. You are commercially minded, with a strong understanding of content strategy and how to build and manage content initiatives that drive business impact. As a senior content writer, you’ll also mentor and coach your fellow writers. Responsibilities include writing and editing copy for various formats such as blogs, reports, events, ad copy, social copy, landing pages, and scripts; being on-the-ground for case studies and shoots; aligning content initiatives with commercial goals and content strategy; partnering with internal and external stakeholders; driving content development through research and interviews; managing content projects from concept to distribution; setting examples for clear goals and content impact analysis; creating and updating writing templates and guidelines; and mentoring writers across studios. The candidate should have 10+ years of professional writing experience, proven success in content marketing initiatives, storytelling skills, curiosity and data-driven approach, attention to detail, understanding of digital channels, ability to self-start and meet deadlines, strong global working relationships, full professional proficiency in US English, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. The role is office-first based in New York with no remote-only option. Salary range is $105,000 - $137,000 annually.
