We are looking for a Project Engineer to assist our Project Management team on multiple commercial construction projects in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction experience in the plumbing and/or mechanical trade
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field strongly preferred
• Proficient in technical applications and software tools, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Bluebeam
• Knowledge of Plumbing Systems including: Gravity System, Pressure systems, Med Gas & Lab Gas systems, Plumbing finish/ ADA
• Proven experience with the RFI and submittal processes
• General understanding of Project Maintenance and Startup Standard Operating Procedures, and Project Schedules (sequencing of work, crew flow, etc)
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of professionals, both inside and outside the organization

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the capabilities of mentoring others
• Must be physically agile and able to climb ladders, access, and egress trenches and/or attic spaces and/or confined spaces
• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license in good standing due to required travel to and from multiple project locations

Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to Honolulu Hawaii to work out of our Hawaii division or on the job site- remote work will not be accepted.
