Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, and the development of the sales and marketing teams. This role includes implementing sales and marketing strategies and leading system and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have Connector Technology experience , from concept/design to development and application of electrical and electronic connectors in industries including telecommunications, automotive, aerospace, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development (30%)

  • Hire, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Promote personal development and goal achievement among team members.

Sales & Marketing Process Improvement (25%)

  • Develop and maintain efficient sales and marketing systems.
  • Create a repeatable and scalable sales process.

Strategy & Execution (30%)

  • Develop and oversee sales, marketing, and pricing strategies.
  • Leverage market insights to align products/services with customer needs.
  • Support long-term business growth through strategic initiatives.

Customer & Industry Engagement (15%)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and networking events.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to optimize sales efforts.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics to measure success.
  • Manage onboarding and training programs for sales and marketing employees.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and adjustments based on competitive analysis.
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, purchasing, warehouse, and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales management. Basic knowledge of Connector Technology.
  • Education: College degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Communication: Ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong decision-making capabilities based on data analysis.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor office environment with occasional travel required.
  • A hybrid work schedule may be available. The initial training period will be 100% in the office. T and TH are standard team office work days.

This role requires a results-driven leader who can drive sales growth, develop strong teams, and align sales efforts with business objectives.
