Posting Description Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Government Relations and Advocacy (GRA) Projects Specialist. The GRA Projects Specialist will provide project support to HFHI's Government Relations and Advocacy department. The position will provide project support for priority advocacy initiatives. The position will also support general departmental support for contracting and finance, as well as office operations. This will be a hybrid position based in Washington, DC at the administrative headquarters. Key Responsibilities: * Support the implementation of priority advocacy projects, including but not limited to:* Habitat on the Hill, HFHI's annual legislative conference, GRA grant management, Training events, webinars and other gatherings (40%)* Responsible for GRA administrative tasks including maintaining office supplies, subscriptions, function of office equipment, trouble shooting for office wide technology, scheduling, room set up for meetings, GRA's intranet (20%)* Responsible for GRA financial transactions, including preparing invoices, reviewing and creating event budgets, and being the primary point of contact with Accounts Payable (20%)* Manage team activities, lunches, happy hours, and other external events (20%) Key Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience* At least 1-2 years of project management experience supporting office operations* Microsoft Office proficient* Ability to communicate and multi-task cross functionally* Active support of HFHI Values & Commitments:* Humility - We are part of something bigger than ourselves* Courage - We do what's right, even when it is difficult or unpopular* Accountability - We take personal responsibility for Habitat's mission* Safeguarding: HFHI requires that all employees take seriously their ethical responsibilities to safeguarding our intended beneficiaries, their communities, and all those with whom we work. For work locations in the US, the salary range for this position is between $39,000 - $58,000 per year. The target hiring range for this position is $41,000 - $46,000 per year. The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate's qualifications and professional experience.
