POSITION SUMMARY:

IMA is seeking a Web and SEO Manager to lead development and implementation of online strategies to expand the online presence of our organization. This role is responsible for improving IMA’s company website online visibility and search engine rankings, focusing on both technical SEO and content optimization. A successful candidate will optimize IMA’s web pages and content across all platforms. They handle content planning, social media engagement, pay-per-click (PPC) marketing, web analytics, and keyword strategy. They also keep tabs on SEO trends and best practices. This position reports to our Senior Director, Marketing and Communications. This role is hybrid with expectation to meet the team in person in our Montvale, NJ headquarters approximately twice monthly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve website rankings and visibility.
  • Ensure IMA’s website is technically sound, fast, mobile-friendly, and user-friendly.
  • Identify relevant keywords and phrases that target audiences use to search for products or services.
  • Create and optimize website content, including text, images, and videos, to align with SEO best practices.
  • Build high-quality backlinks to improve website authority and ranking.
  • Address technical aspects of SEO, such as website speed, structure, and indexing.
  • Monitor website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Work with other departments, such as marketing, content creation, and web development, to achieve SEO goals.
  • Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends and algorithms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with thought leaders and subject matter experts in marketing, sales, product, revenue operations, and client experience teams.
  • Manage and mentor a small team, while overseeing agency relationships and external contributors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in web management and SEO strategy.
  • 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated success in leading and developing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, relevant certifications preferred.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, website structure, and page speed optimization.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • Ability to create and optimize engaging and SEO-friendly content.
  • Ability to analyze website data, track performance, and generate reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement SEO strategies and solve problems effectively.
  • Global and/or non-profit experience a plus.
