Overview Senior Tax role for a mid-size CPA firm in Summit, NJ. This client-facing position oversees a diverse portfolio including privately held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and non-profit organizations, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firm’s continued growth. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, competitive compensation, and professional development opportunities. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts/estates. Participate in back-office services for investment partnerships and family offices. Prepare financial statements, write-ups, compilations, and special projects. Manage engagements through all phases of tax, accounting, and reporting, including research, projections, and planning. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, advising on tax planning and financial decision-making. Qualifications 3-7 years of business and individual tax preparation experience. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA license or progress toward CPA preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks; UltraTax experience a plus.
