\nKelly is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to work with our client, a leader in sustainable and innovative chemical manufacturing, on a direct hire basis in Dunwoody! \nThe Senior Tax Analyst will:\n

\n\t
• Report to the Senior Tax Manager (Americas region)\n\t
• Prepare state and local corporate income, sales/use, personal property, and other miscellaneous tax calculations and returns\n\t
• Lead correspondence and projects with third party consultants for all indirect tax matters\n\t
• Maintain and enhance the processes around indirect taxes\n\t
• Organize the maintenance of exemption certificates provided by customers and to vendors\n\t
• Assist with preparation of federal income tax provision and help ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting\n\t
• Assist with maintaining tax calendar and tracking of tax inquiries and exposures\n\t
• Lead state and local tax audits and inquiries as they arise\n\t
• Assist with federal, state and local tax research and analyses\n\t
• Assist with strategic tax planning where appropriate\n\t
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law development\n

\nQualifications:\n\n

\n\t
• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Taxation \n\t
• CPA, CMA, JD, MBA, Masters of Tax or other certifications (preferred)\n\t
• 3+ years of relevant tax experience (industry or public)\n\t
• Experience with US federal, state, and local tax compliance for large corporations\n\t
• Experience with indirect taxes – both sales and use and property taxes\n\t
• Experience with Thomson Reuters tax software (OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax) as well as Wolter Kluwer Tax Research tools (CCH) or similar technologies\n\t
• Proficiency in suite of Microsoft Office programs\n\t
• Knowledge of SAP preferred\n\t
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills\n\t
• Strong written and verbal communication skills\n
