Our Pearson Marketing & Commerce Cloud platform is a global, multi-tenant, cloud-native eCommerce system, currently processing over 90% of Pearson's global eCommerce revenue. About The Job You will develop complex applications, contributing to Pearson's technical transformation by building capabilities on the PMC core platform. Responsibilities Implement, document, and unit test modules using Java, Spring, and React. Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Perform code reviews for flexibility and reusability. Mentor junior team members. Support architectural and technical risk management. Collaborate with project management and business analysts. Work closely with QA teams to maintain high quality. Coordinate with architects on system integration. Advocate for architectural standards and patterns. Skills & Abilities Strong Java, Spring, and REST API development skills. Full-stack experience with client-side technologies (React, AngularJS, Vue.js). Willingness to learn complex eCommerce implementations. Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, relational databases, and integration landscapes. Experience with troubleshooting, logging, and monitoring tools. Effective communication skills. Experience with AWS and microservice architecture is a plus. Experience with integrated AI models in web applications is a plus.
