Job Description:

Cox Automotive is looking for a Master Ito join our team in Atlanta, GA.

As a Scrum Master I, you will mostly be responsible for facilitating the learning and growth of one technology Scrum team, helping them develop a lean-Agile mindset, improve their game, and achieve more predictable delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owner and other team members to learn and practice healthy backlog management and prioritization practices.

• Guide the team through Scrum ceremonies.
• Coordinate delivery and planning with the Release Train Engineer
• Participate in and guide the team through PI Planning

• Prep for and facilitate release planning with our teams.

• Help with dependency management and cross team coordination.

• Facilitate continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture on teams, as well as related ceremonies, collaboration, communication, and conflict management.

• Coach new team members on Agile mindset as well as Agile frameworks, practices, and process.

• Mentor Product Owners and team members in agile practices and continuous improvement.

• Be the team’s buffer, helping minimize distractions & disruptions.

• Help in the coordination of operational issue resolution.
• Encourages brainstorming, creative thinking, open minds, equal voice and perspective sharing. Encourages the team to be confident and courageous.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in related field and 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Up to 2 years’ experience applying both the Scrum Framework and Kanban Method in growing high performing teams as a fulltime practitioner.
• Working experience with Scrum, XP, or Kanban, and Agile scaling frameworks (preferably SAFe). 

Desirable:

• Big plus if you’ve already got your Scrum Master certification, or an equivalent professional certification.
• Experience using Lean/Agile collaboration tools like Rally, VersionOne, and/or JIRA.
• Experience working with Lean/Agile teams in the context of cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Experience working with teams applying test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability.
