Job Description

is widely recognized as o ne of the most advanced, respected, and highly resourced life insurance agencies in the country, and we’re looking for a dynamic, analytical, well-rounded, performance-minded leader to head up inbound call center sales operations in our Austin office to be launched in early 2024.

With a proprietary technology platform, including custom-built CRM, quoting and underwriting technologies, a proprietary online sales and product training center, highly advanced in-house marketing and lead generation capabilities, and a proven scripted sales process (on-screen and w/AI-supported, real-time coaching), DigitalBGA’s resources are designed to support a high performing, and highly scalable, call center environment.

As Sales Call Center General Manager, you will directly oversee our inbound Life Insurance call center sales operations. You will help to establish and maintain a positive, performance-based, sales culture and guide effective daily operations.

You will oversee sales process and efficiency, customer service, leadership development and hire “A-players” to build out our call center team.  You’ll work closely with highly experienced owners, analysts, recruiters and leadership team to develop and optimize call center operations. 

While all of the core resources are well established, you will be building the Austin call center environment from ground up. 

Call center agents will be fielding inbound calls from TV commercials that our marketing team produces in-house and televises across the nation.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee day to day operations of our Austin Call Center. 
  • Evaluate call center goals along with quality control measures, ensuring that call center goals and quality measures are aligned and achieved.
  • Identify, coordinate, and implement new processes and tools to improve contact center efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor staff performance metrics, conduct performance reviews and mentor your management team.
  • Establish high standards for productivity and customer service.
  • Manage and improve call center performance through system audits.
  • Instrumental in the recruitment process by interviewing all new hires our recruiter screens and sets for you.
  • Summarizes, collects, and analyzes contact center trends and data for regular performance reports, presenting findings to owners.
  • Works closely with the owners executing on KPI’s and initiatives.. 

 

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a sales call center.
  • Motivated self-starter, flexible, high sense of urgency, with a demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience motivating and engaging staff members.
  • Insurance experience is a plus, not required.
