A Houston-based energy private equity platform is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its lean, high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility in a flat, partner-led structure where your work will directly impact investment outcomes and firm growth.

The firm is now actively deploying capital into multiple portfolio companies, building momentum across energy investments. With an established track record of more than a decade, billions in capital raised, and investments across dozens of portfolio companies, the team is recognized for its rigorous technical expertise—combining engineering and operational insight with financial discipline to evaluate complex opportunities.

The Role

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will:

• Support end-to-end deal execution: modeling, valuation, diligence, and structuring
• Partner with portfolio companies on strategy, operations, and value creation
• Contribute to firm-level initiatives, including fundraising and investor communications
• Gain exposure across the full investment lifecycle in a dynamic, transaction-rich environment

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of pre-MBA investment banking experience (energy or natural resources strongly preferred)
• Buy-side private equity or operating company experience is a plus
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and writing abilities, with interest or experience in fundraising/investor relations
• A proactive, collaborative approach suited to a lean, entrepreneurial culture
