About the Firm:

We are partnering with a leading middle-market private equity fund based in Miami, focused on investing in and scaling platform businesses across a variety of sectors in North America. With a proven track record of driving operational transformation and value creation, the firm is known for its hands-on investment style, collaborative culture, and long-term partnership approach with management teams.

Position Overview:

The fund is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its Miami office. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated investment professional to gain end-to-end deal experience and work directly with senior investment professionals, portfolio company executives, and external advisors.

A relocation package is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support deal execution, including due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, industry research, and transaction structuring
• Conduct market analyses to identify attractive investment opportunities across sectors
• Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to the investment committee
• Collaborate with portfolio company management teams on value creation initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic growth projects
• Monitor ongoing portfolio performance, including financial and operational KPIs
• Build and maintain relationships with bankers, advisors, and industry experts to support deal origination

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of Investment Banking experience (generalist or sector coverage groups)
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively in small, lean deal teams
• Passion for private equity investing and value creation
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (top-tier university preferred)
