Overview

The President/CEO serves as the chief strategist and chief executive leader of Paducah Bank and has responsibility for building shareholder value by enhancing the performance, quality, and long-term profitability and soundness of the Bank. The President/CEO is responsible for shaping the Banks vision, driving strategic growth and financial performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while fostering a culture of trust and unified direction.

The next President/CEO will have the opportunity, along with the owners and Board of Directors, to actively shape and mold the Banks future while honoring the values that define Paducah Banks trusted brand and reputation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership. Develop and execute strategic plans in alignment with Board directives to enhance growth, profitability, and service excellence. Ensure alignment between business operations and Banks mission and values. Identify new market opportunities and lead innovative initiatives. Evaluate and explore new lines of business, delivery systems, and geographic market areas.
  2. Financial Management. Ensure sound financial performance and asset quality across all lines of business. Manage asset quality and capital adequacy in line with Board and regulatory standards. Oversee budgeting and forecasting, continuously evaluating measurable goals and organizational performance.
  3. Governance & Compliance. Cultivate strong relationships with regulators and audit bodies. Ensure the implementation of effective internal controls and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to banking regulations and industry standards.
  4. Technological Astuteness. Demonstrate exceptional acumen in leveraging emerging technologies for driving strategic innovation across the organization. Strong grasp of digital trends and AI-driven analytics. Ability to effectively integrate tech solutions to enhance organizational agility, empower teams, and elevate customer engagement.
  5. Team and Culture Building. Leads, inspires, and mentors a high-performing, collaborative executive team, building bench strength as needed. Builds teamwork across functional areas. Clearly and consistently articulates ideas, provides feedback, and encourages professional development across the Bank.
  6. Operational Oversight. Lead executive team and oversee day-to-day operations across all departments. Champion digital transformation and process efficiency. Monitor performance metrics and adjust operations to meet goals. Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  7. Community Engagement. Serve as the public face of the Bank, fostering strong relationships within the community. Represent the Bank with regulators, industry groups, and civic organizations.
