POSITION SUMMARY:

Pepper Construction is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry to experience life with a commercial general contractor.

Our Preconstruction team supports the activities that occur at the beginning of a project, prior to the start of construction. You will work directly with many aspects of preconstruction, including but not limited to take-offs, estimating, bid scope sheets, and subcontractor coordination. You will also be involved in training sessions, jobsite tours and safety. You will gain hands-on experience with a reputable general contractor in the Indianapolis Area.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current college student entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Construction Management or a similar discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology
  • Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments
