Our client, a dynamic logistics firm, is seeking a Office Assistant / Shipping Office Clerk to join their team. As a Office Assistant, you will be part of the customer service and sales support team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Montgomery, NY

Pay Range: $18-19/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

What's the Job?

• Enter stock orders into the accounting software.
• Compile order folders for incoming containers at the warehouse.
• Prepare bills of lading documents for each order.
• Provide customer service by answering incoming phone calls and emails.
• Collaborate with internal departments and assist with sales support tasks.

What's Needed?

• Previous experience as a customer service representative.
• Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organized, team player, and highly motivated with strong math skills.
