Job Description

As a Lifeguard you will:

• Ensure the safety of all guests by maintaining constant surveillance continuously scanning the pool or water park area and monitoring guests for signs of distress or unsafe behavior.
• Render emergency care and if necessary contact emergency medical services to ensure prompt and appropriate assistance for guests in need.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pool and water park areas to create a pleasant and sanitary environment for the guests.
• Maintain detailed activity reports to document incidents observations and any actions taken during the shift. 
• Attend scheduled in-service training to stay updated on the latest safety protocols and guidelines. 
• Be a team player and assist your colleagues with their duties as required.

Qualifications :

• Lifeguard must be an expert swimmer be in excellent physical condition and able to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Preferred certifications in American Red Cross Lifeguard CPR First Aid and AED.
• Strong ability to recognize unsafe and hazardous situations and react properly.
• Will be required to enter the water participate in regular in-water trainings and swim on a daily basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and lift and/or move up to/over 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to work in wet humid and outdoor weather conditions and extreme heat and sun exposure.

• Required to pass a background check drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
