Job Description
Responsible for assessing housekeeping standards throughout the facility, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and public areas. Conducts thorough examination of facility, ensuring that all products and services meet the Company's standards for excellence.
  • Performs routine inspections as assigned, informing designated personnel of issues requiring attention.
  • Records inspection results in order to further develop and train housekeeping staff.
  • Examines rooms prior to guest arrival and conducts inspections upon departure to assess if any damages have occurred.
  • Oversees all housekeeping duties, making sure the property meets hotel and Company cleanliness standards.
  • Ensures the timely preparation of rooms for all scheduled check-ins.
  • Serves as the primary contact between housekeeping personnel and other staff members to ensure that rooms are ready for guests.
  • Responsible for checking unoccupied units for proper thermostat settings and maintenance deficiencies.
  • Ensures that all furniture and appliances are restored to original positions throughout the facility.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions and utilizing good judgement to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills
  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a management/supervisory role preferred.
  3. Must have excellent customer service skills and strong teamwork skills.
  4. Must be able to run, walk, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, push, pull, lift, and carry weight for a full 8-hour shift.
  5. Must be willing to work changing shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
  6. Ability to write clear and concise reports.
  7. Must be knowledgeable of federal, state, and local laws.
