Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the greenhouse, including planning and implementing growing schedules. Oversee the irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and nutrient delivery to plants. Supervise staff in daily tasks such as planting, pruning, harvesting, and maintaining plant health. Monitor environmental conditions within the greenhouse to optimize growth conditions. Perform regular inspections of plants for pests or diseases and implement appropriate control measures. Maintain equipment and tools used in greenhouse operations, ensuring they are in good working condition. Conduct heavy lifting tasks related to planting and moving materials as necessary. Collaborate with landscape designers or agricultural specialists to enhance plant selection and layout. Requirements Proven experience in greenhouse management or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of plant care, including growing techniques and pest management. Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
