Job Description
Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to support an 8th-grade student in a middle school behavioral class in Richmond, TX. This opportunity involves providing instructional interpreting services for a student who uses cochlear implants, hearing aids, and an ALD device. The student identifies as hearing but has an unintelligible voice and is adjusting after returning from a Residential Day School Program.
