Hiring! Auto Detail Manager

Fulltime: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon – Fri

Pay rate: $ based on experience.

Location: Sandusky, OH

  Summary:

Experienced Detail Manager to teach staff the best practices and high standards to meet customer expectations. Creating efficient procedures, ensure vehicles are meticulously cleaned, polished, and restored. You will need excellent customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and products used to clean and maintain vehicles, have excellent attention to detail, and communicate well with team, sales, and customers. What you will do:

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the automotive detailing department.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of detailers to high standards of performance.
• Develop and implement efficient detailing processes and procedures.
• Be familiar with operating buffers, D.A. Sanders, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of products and techniques for cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
• Managing inventory of products and reordering supplies.
• Conduct quality inspections keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition, assuring exceptional results in cleaned, polished and restores condition.
• Organizing daily workload, assuring the delivery of vehicles to correct locations. 
• Provide great teamwork with detail technicians.
• Provide excellent communication.

What you will need:

• Leadership skills to motivate team and create a positive work environment, inspire and mentor team.
• Strong working knowledge of detailing techniques, products, and equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Valid state driver’s license with good driving record.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and people skills.
• Meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, sitting, and standing for extended periods.
