We're hiring an Emergency Medicine, Clinical Pharmacist to support a busy Level III Trauma Center . This Permanent position is ideal for residency trainedpharmacists OR those with a strong background in emergency medicine orcritical care.

Position Overview:
As a Clinical Pharmacist in the ED, you will play a critical role in direct patient care by collaborating with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams to ensure optimal medication therapy and emergency response. You will support critically ill and trauma patients and be actively involved in emergency alerts and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide pharmaceutical care and clinical guidance for ED patients
Participate in trauma resuscitations, stroke alerts, and code situations
Conduct medication reconciliation and make evidence-based recommendations
Monitor for adverse drug events and implement corrective actions
Prepare and dispense medications in line with ED protocols
Educate patients and staff on drug therapy, side effects, and safety
Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents
Supervise medication history technicians
Support quality improvement and research efforts within the ED pharmacy practice
Qualifications:
B.S. or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
Active Texas Pharmacist License (in good standing)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required within 90 days of hire
Must meet applicable sterile compounding requirements
Preferred:
PGY2 in Emergency Medicine or Critical Care, OR
PGY1 Residency + ED/Critical Care Experience, OR
3+ years in ED or Critical Care pharmacy practice
