We are a growing residential design-build company known for our thoughtful designs, custom cabinetry, and high-quality renovations. Our projects range from whole-home remodels to detailed kitchen and bath renovations. As our current designer transitions out, we’re seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team and help shape the future of our design process.

Position Summary

The Architectural & Cabinetry Designer is a key role in our team, responsible for translating client ideas into smart, beautiful, and buildable designs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in architectural planning and also bring experience or interest in cabinetry design and sales. This is a full-time, salaried position with the potential to earn commissions based on performance and role involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to understand project goals, style preferences, and budget
  • Develop floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using Chief Architect
  • Design custom cabinetry layouts and work with clients to finalize design details and accessories
  • Prepare construction-ready drawings and documentation for permitting and internal hand-off
  • Collaborate with project managers and production team throughout project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with cabinetry vendors and assist in product ordering
  • Maintain organized project files and track deliverables
  • Present design concepts and revisions clearly and professionally to clients

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred
  • Experience using Chief Architect is required
  • Experience with cabinetry design and sales is a strong plus
  • At least 3 years of residential design experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with building codes, construction methods, and remodeling processes
