Coach Mercer LLC After-School Enrichment Program
Are you passionate about teaching and coaching young students? Do you have a strong background in sports and fitness? If so, we are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Elementary School Sports and Fitness Coaches.

Through social-emotional learning, arts & crafts, sports, and STEM programs, we equip them with the skills they need to thrive.

We are looking for coaches to teach either Tennis, Golf, ballet instructor and cheer coach.

If you love working with kids and enjoy playing sports, you'll have a wonderful time coaching elementary and middle school kids. Flexible days between 3:30-4:30 pm. Perks include good pay ranging from $50-$150 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To provide an enjoyable and safe sporting experience for an assigned group of youngsters while they learn individual and team game skills, sportsmanship, and fair play.
- Be responsible for all equipment.
- The ratio of students to Coach/Teacher is 15 to 1. (School will provide an assistant)
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students by teaching a variety of interacting and entertaining group sports and game classes virtually.
- Ability to demonstrate all appropriate movements, monitor the form of students, and the ability to offer corrections if an individual is not using the proper form.
- Communicate with the Site Director/ program Director daily.
- Must be at work on time (10mins before the start of class)
Position Requirements:
* Current CPR and First Aid certifications or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- One or more years of coaching experience.
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class, which may include, but are not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling.
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have access to a device with internet access to connect with interactive platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Team, or Google Meet).
- Must be available during the school year between 3:30-4:30 pm Monday/Friday.
- Must love connecting with student's grade Kindergarten-8th and possess a passion for working with them.
- Be able to be on your feet leading and instructing members for the duration of the practice.
- Must be dependable and have transportation to the assigned school.
- Must be able to work independently without supervision.
Compensation:
- Pay range is $50-$150 per hour.
- Must work 3:30PM-4:30PM.
- Payday is every Friday.
