The Internship The Walmart Offsite Energy Solutions Team Internship is an 11-week program held during the summer of 2025. It is open to MBA students graduating between December 2025 and August 2026. This paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Walmart Energy. Interns will work on meaningful projects, network with industry experts, and develop their skills while having an enriching summer experience.   About the Walmart Energy Team The Walmart Energy Team delivers value-creating energy solutions that decarbonize our operations and help catalyze societal decarbonization. Our team is engaged in Renewable Energy Strategy, Sustainable Facilities and Acceleration, Business Strategy and Partnerships, Utility Partnerships, Mobility Strategy, Business Development for Retail Charging, Engineering, and Construction Operations, and Energy Project Development. About the Offsite Energy Solutions Team As an intern on the Offsite Energy Solutions Team, you will support Walmart's global grid-scale energy investment strategy, which enables energy solutions that advance our goals of ensuring energy security and affordability, building new clean energy businesses, and accelerating emissions reductions. The team works to address critical energy risks—including access, cost, resiliency, and emissions—by investing in high-impact, grid-scale energy infrastructure. Areas of work may include:

• Analyzing project data, contracts, and financials to drive improvements and inform strategic decisions
• Enhancing portfolio management and reporting processes, providing updates and forecasts to stakeholders
• Conducting market research and financial modeling for renewable energy projects and investment opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Actively enrolled in an MBA Program
• Expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
• Passion for Energy and Development
• Interest in Renewable Energy
• Collaboration-first working style
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time-management skills
• Willingness to relocate to Walmart’s Home Office Hub (Bentonville, AR) after graduation.

Preferred Majors:

• Master’s in Business Administration with concentrations in:
  • Finance
  • Business/ Data Analytics
  • Energy Management/ Renewable Energy Strategy

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
